Create Your Own Website with Google Sites
Would you like to have a website for
personal or business use? You can, without buying software or hiring a web
developer. There is no cost to create your site and have it hosted on the
Internet using what you will learn in this class. If you already own a domain
name you may use it, or you may purchase a unique domain name for a small
annual fee. In two hands-on sessions, you will learn how to register for this

Electronic Blueprint Take-Off
Would you like to avoid paying for expensive prints and reduce the time it takes to prepare bids? You can do both by learning to use your computer to work with electronic print files. In this 2 ½ hour hands-on class you will learn how to download and install free software that you can use to look at prints and do take-offs. You will be able to quickly measure places where there are no dimensions and do area and linear take offs and counts.
Prerequisite: Beginning Computers or equal knowledge level.

So you know how to browse the internet and check your email, but do you know how to bookmark sites, use the history list, download files, and adjust your privacy settings? With your email have you mastered sending or opening file attachments and organizing your email in folders? If not, this hands-on class will help you move to the next level of proficiency while surfing the internet or using email.

Microsoft Excel-Level 1
Excel allows you to quickly total numbers and do calculations. It eliminates running tapes in an adding machine.
The information can be prepared in a nice looking document with your company logo. In this basic hands-on class
you will learn how to: create basic spreadsheets, format cells, edit spreadsheet information, move and copy
existing information, change column and row widths and heights, apply colors and borders to cells, and create
formulas that will do your calculations for you.

If you are a new or inexperienced user of Microsoft Word, help is available. In these hands-on sessions you can learn the basics of using your word processor.
